Speakers

Russ Lamont joined Dyno Nobel in June of 2019.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.  He also possesses a Master of Business Administration from the University of Charleston, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.  Russ is a licensed professional engineer, a certified blaster, and a certified surface and underground mine foreman.  Prior to joining Dyno Nobel, Russ worked in engineering and operational management roles for mining companies in the aggregate and coal industries in both surface and underground operations.  These roles included positions such as Mine Superintendent, Chief Engineer, and Plant Manager.  Russ currently holds the position of General Manager of Dyno Nobel’s technical support DynoConsult team.
