Simon Unwin is the Application Support Manager for Sandvik, division Mobile Crushing and Screening, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the heavy construction and aggregates industries. With a background spanning engineering, technical training, field service, product application, and commercial support, he combines practical operational knowledge with a strong focus on delivering customer value.

In his current role, Simon works closely with distributors and customers across the globe, providing application expertise, operational cost analysis, and technical guidance to optimize crushing and screening operations. He has played a key role in developing value-based selling tools, delivering international training programs, and supporting the successful implementation of mobile crushing and screening solutions in a wide range of applications.

Having previously held roles in technical training, customer account management, and global field service, Simon has extensive experience helping customers improve productivity, maximize equipment performance, and achieve sustainable operational results. He holds a BTEC HNC in mechanical engineering and is passionate about sharing knowledge, developing people, and driving best practice throughout the quarrying and mining industry.
