 Magnus Franzen is working as global Life Cycle Optimization Expert for Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. Magnus holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lund University of Technology. Attended a two years internal education, SIMACS Sandvik International Mining and Construction School, coordinated by Mining University of Leoben in Austria.

He started his professional career in 2007 with Sandvik Rock Processing within the Global Application Sales and Support Department as an Application Engineer. He designed full scope crushing and screening plants in both mining and construction type applications. After 3 years he became the Global Application Sales Support Manager.

From there, he moved to work as a Category Manager Investments for Sweden’s biggest constructions company. He was responsible for investments of heavy equipment such as crushing and screening equipment, yellow machines, asphalt machines, concrete and asphalt plants.

Magnus joined Sandvik again in 2018 and brought with his process optimization expertise with focus on minimizing the investment and production cost. He provides technical support and training to the product line and sales teams and he is developing the way of working with plant audits, performance guarantees and performance optimizations.
