With over 15 years of experience in R&D, product development, and global marketing, David combines technical depth with commercial insight to drive innovation and growth.
Prior to his current role, David spent nearly a decade in research and development at Dyno Nobel, leading the design, testing, and commercialization of bulk explosive technologies, including emulsion systems, bulk truck platforms, and boosters. His work included field support, global project leadership, and the launch of high-value product lines. Earlier in his career, David worked in new business development at US Synthetic, where he led R&D efforts focused on oil and gas applications, including purification processes and high-performance industrial materials.
David holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Western Governors University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and has authored numerous scientific publications and patents.
In his spare time, David enjoys being outdoors with his wife and three kids— whether it being fishing, paddleboarding, mountain biking, or running near their home in Spanish Fork, Utah.
